Year 3... With so little subjects, no doubt many thinks that maybe it is time to rest. NO! I guess with a whole chank of Major Project for you to do, no wonder the school gave us so little subjects. And with Career Communications clashing in, everyone is getting confuse in which to follow: is CCOM part of MP? Or MP and CCOM stands alone? Because some smartie in school had us made confused. "Just follow CCOM" they'd say. So if we do follow CCOM, meaning we don't have to do flyers & posters and MP presentation? And god damn it, how do we do flyers & posters on reports done during SIP? Like asking you if you can drink the water with its cap on. ZZZ And don't get me started on MP presentation. Writing the freaking report is already cracking my brains, and half of it looks lame shit with rubbish added into it to make it look like i've done much. And now I have to present those rubbish!? What rubbish is that! And presentation is like next week and I'm yet to start. So yet again, I find myself closing my eyes and walk, hoping that i can cross the bridge safely without felling...
It takes two hands to clap, and I'm getting tired trying to clap using only my hand. My clap will turn to slap, hopefully the slap will wake me up.
2009 at a glance; Thursday, November 5, 2009
2:34 AM
I just released that I've not blogged a single thing about my life this year. Looking back at my 2009 posts, it's been more of comments and anger venting. Ah well while waiting for Champions League to start (Which thanks to Singtel, I had to watch laggy online P2P streaming), I shall recap 2009 from what I can remember:January 2009: Hmm... Chinese New Year? Well another than that nothing intesting happened.Feburary 2009: Main exams? Also nothing much happened.March 2009: Holiday. ROT AT HOME. Nothing much happened.April 2009: Holiday. CONTINUE ROTTING. Began SIP at Changi Airport. First few days was really 8 to 6. Then slowly 9 to 6, 10 to 5, 10 to 3 then became 3-4 day week.... You can't blame me la! They gave me NOTHING to do. Everyday at best I have few papers to photocopy, then its free time for you to rot. But then again, Changi Airport wasn't a bad place to rot at all =D. Grandmother's passing...May 2009: Still having attachment. No life due to that. Hmm taken out my P plate.June 2009: Attachment. Bro got his license, P plate is back -.-"July 2009: Attachment.August 2009: Attachment. Confirmed our (Leong, aloy, weili) Taiwan trip tickets. We will be leaving on 20th Dec.September 2009: Holiday: rotting time again. 21st birthday wasn't spectacular: just the way I like it.October: 1 wave of birthdays to attend, causing me to drink like a full week, making me puke for the first time. Start of school. And a special day that set my heart pumping.November: ERR.... 5 days of November so far and nothing special.Wow... 2009 looks boring so far... No wonder I haven blogged anything about my life. 1 month and 3 weeks to go to 2010. Better spend it well.Side tracking, my cravings for the food I wanna eat is growing (pardon me, but "cravings" is usually used by girls and I feel damn wrong typing this word). For now the list includes: Bedok's Ba Chor Mee; Serangoon Garden's Porriage; BK's Mushroom Swiss (OK i just had it just now so kinda died down the craving for it); Pizza Hut's Chicken Drumsticks; Sakae's Sushi;KFC's Whipped Potato & Cheese Fries.List might grow if I don't clear all this "agenda" first. Then again, eating all this will cause sideways expansion that I've just managed to cut some off. We will see how it goes. Ah not bad, I've managed to kill 30mins writing all this crap. At least now my blog don't seem too empty for year 2009. Hopefully 2010 will be better...

I need sleep! But I can't sleep! I need to eat! But I can't eat anything! I need money! But I lazy to work! Ahhhh!!! 3 freaking days and I've slept less than 10 hours. I feel tired, but everytime I lay down, my eyes opened like goldfishes never close them -.-" I feel hungry, but everytime I eat a little, I feel damn bloated for the rest of the day. zzz And I've left like 200+ for the rest of the month and I haven pay for 2 birthdays. Where got enough to eat! And my timetable sucks man... I could easily have 2 days out of 5 off per week! If only I've completed my CDS and the stupid school shift the ALL SO USELESS APEL 3 off Friday. I mean, WTH? My timetable for Friday is APEL 3, 12pm to 1pm. And APEL don't even last 30mins can. My travelling time to school alone takes more time than that. zzz... I need to get those stupid thoughts out of my head! Life is more than all this! I WILL stop thinking and get some SLEEP! I WILL stop thinking and eat some food! I WILL survive one way or another with my remaining money! I WILL finish the stupid 3.2 and graduate!
and to think that all this started out so innocently...

When giants clash, the people below suffers. The day Singtel won the EPL rights from Starhub, we the subscribers suffers. Whats the matter Singtel? Not enough earnings from phone bills? Government not enough money to build roads? Why the hell do you need to stick your nose into cableTV business too? Now SCV subscribers are left stranded, not knowing to switch over or wait 3 years and see if Starhub wins. WTH. If we are to switch brands and Starhub wins 3 years later, doesn't it mean that we have to switch back to SCV? ZZZ... Well if switching means cheaper and hassle-free then why not? modem and
The problem is its not. Mio installation is expensive and troublesome. Not only do you need the Mio top box, you need Singtel telephone line and Mio Internet Modem; meaning that you have to pay installation fees and running fees for all that. In other words your existing StarhubSCV top box will have to go; meaning you have to break the contract and thus pay for contract breaching. SEE! Just by changing over you have to go through all this stuff. Oh, how about having both? Yah right, that is if you have too much money to donate and remembers where you place your 3 remote controllers (1 for TV, 1 for SCV, 1 for Mio) then by all means. Ah I know, cancel all cableTVs and watch soccer online. Yah then stick to watching Mediacock, i meant Mediacrops, sorry sorry, Mediacorp channels la. And mark my words, if people don't start subsribing to Mio and starts watching soccer online, pretty soon the government will start issuing fines and throwing people into jail if they are caught watching soccer through P2P.Oh well I guess from next season you either watch livescore.com or go down to your nearest kopitiam to catch the match, that is the kopitiam installed Mio, la. THANK GOD I'm enlisting next year...

When I changed out of my contact lens just now, something striked me: Ever wondered how did cavemen with myopia or hyperopia or astigmatism survived? Imagine you in 100BC, with a degree of <+5.00, trying to hunt. Life must have sucked then. Luckily, the first lens of its kind were founded in 8th century BC, so I guess only cavemen suffered? Anyways, All hail technology.

NEVER had I hated a player so much to express my displeasure openly. Such LACK OF CLASS, such LACK OF SPORTSMANSHIP. No apologies can ease the anger against such a person. NEVER had I seen such disrespectfulness against another person, LET alone an organisation where you had once mingled in. What the hell were you thinking sprinting the full length of the pitch to celebrate your goal infront of the away crowd? To top it up, that away crowd who were ONCE people whom supported you when you were a nobody back in your hay days. WHO was it who groomed you into what you are? WHO that hell supported you when you are down, encouraged you when you sucked? One think for sure, no person connected to Arsenal FC whatsoever will EVER, and I mean, EVER, forgive you for what you had done against us today. Today, you've just showed ARSENAL FC that you are an ungrateful, un-sportsmanlike, immatured, class-less brat you are. I wish you all the WORSE in whatever you do, EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR.

2:19 AM
My SIP ended kinda ok i guess... Since I've finished my SIP, let me show those who are gonna work in Changi Airport a few places to "relex" when the going gets tough.
First, the airport pass. Without it, there will be no relexation. The alphabets at the bottom indicates the area you are able to access. They are namely:
A-Apron with baggage sorting access
B-Baggage Claim/Arrival Hall TransitC-Changi Airfreight Centre
D-Departure Transit
T-Control Tower
V-VIP Complex.
First up: Terminal 2
Description: The entertainment center. This Cinema shows Star Movies and is a good place to catch some winks. Beside it is free computer games to play, free x-box games to play, free PS3 games to play, and free guitar heroes to play!
Location: Center of T2 Transit, above Soup Spoon.
Description: This area allows you to pluck in your laptop and surf the net using the free WIRELESS@SG. There's also X-Boxes and free internet there.
Location: Center of T2 Transit, beside 7-11.
Description: The Oasis. Oh man... My favorate relexing place. TVs showing Chl 5, ESPN, Star Movies & Discovery Chl. Free internet. Free massage chairs. And most importantly, free sleeping chairs with in-built alarm! Location: End of west finger pier. And now: Terminal 3
Description: Movie Theatre. Ah well.... The movie repeats on the same timing everyday so no point coming here everyday.Location: Beside Butterfly garden.
Description: This is a very good place to slack! Erm i meant rest. Planes seldom use these gates and so its kinda ulu place. TV shows Football Chl and Hallmark Chl. Internet connection here is laggy though. Oh, there is also a playground here, so knock yourself out.Location: EXTREME left of T3, gate A21. There's a skytrain that goes specially to that gatehold area due to the distance from the shops and stuff. There you go! Even for those who don't work there, you can check those places out the next time you fly!
End of the road; Thursday, August 20, 2009
12:01 AM
I can see the end of the road, the end of my attachment, the end of having breakfast at 9 everyday, the end of watching starmovies in transit, the end of PS3 playing in transit, the end of SITTING in transit, the end of cheap perfumes and chocolates. Good times... Gooooood times....

12:00 AM
I did something stupid yesterday. I was standing beside my car talking to my friend when I for some reason left my handphone on the roof of my car. After my friend left, I drove off with my handphone still on the roof of the car. -.-" I was searching the car at the traffic light for my handphone as I needed to make a phone call. Then suddenly I remembered my phone was on the roof. So I alighted in the middle of the road and found my hp still on the roof top. How cool is that? lol. Fujiwara Takumi's father put a cup of water in his car for him to learn to balance the car properly. I did it in a more expensive way haha.
coffee table; Wednesday, June 17, 2009
10:03 PM
ENVY ME! MWHAHAHAHAHAH! I just added a NEW coffee table to my already very very comfortable room! hahahahaha! Let the picture do the talking shall we?

Behold! My paradise. A TV completed with SCV top box, a comfy sofa and a coffee table for me to errr, drink coffee. Though the Wii game console doesn't belong to me, the guitar hero is!
And I also got a new clock and pull-up bar recently.
And now, to get my fridge, and my life is complete =D

Working in Changi Airport is SO TIRING. Everyone in school are having holidays and we have to report to work. Guess I don't have the right to complain much though. For one thing, Changi Airport is so big that you can try slacking one corner and only have 5% of chances that you will run into your supervisor. Also, there are so many places for you to slack. There is the cinema, the game area, the resting area, and too many to name. If you are hungry, you got so many kinds of food here that you can choose from: Macdonalds, Subway, Popeye, Sakae Sushi, Cystal Jade, food courts, if I have to name all this post will be freaking long. But eating all this food is so expensive and fattening.I got to admit though, going to the air side is damn cool. Mind you, not everyone can get to the runway so close that you can hear and feel the plane taking off. You have to endure the heat though if you want to have a good view. The work load is so little that a week work can be easily done in 1 day. And my supervisor is on 1 and 1/2 week leave! Which means I have nothing to do! So we have to brainstorm on what to write in our logbook. Pitiful eh!?!You see, having to spend so much on food & shopping there, enduring the heat there, and also crack our brains on what to write into our logbook there, isn't we pitiful!?! Or are we? =D HAHA

I'm settling quite well into this new evironment: the attachment evironment that is. For one thing, noone really cares what time you report for work. Of course you must be "zi dong" la, don't report like 1pm like that. Well I just report around 8.45 to 9am instead of the actual reporting time of 8.30am, SO FAR. I cannot promise that I will be that early as time goes on. haha. Anyway, my usual routine is to arrive at around 8.45 to 9, go down to have breakfast till 9+ 10, then if there is any outdoor work to do, like visit some facility to write a report for it, then I will do it. If not I will go to my secret spot in the airport to play PSP till 1pm and go for lunch. Such a stressful morning! Well after my lunch till around 2.30pm like that, I will slack around till 3 then start to do my work. Home at 6pm sharp. lol, stressful life I'm having ah?

It's grandmother's 77th birthday today. Not that she knows it... My grandmother is lying in Changi General Hospital as I'm speaking (or typing) right now. She's suffering from heart attack, diabetes and stroke. She's lying there, sometimes recognising us, sometimes not. The doctor told us to prepare for the worse, and we've been doing so. Now at least she can speak now, we'll just try to give her what she wants. My only regret is that I don't have a recent picture taken with her. Her only known gift from her to me is a pair of earrings that she gave me 2 years ago. I had since misplaced one of them. Rest assure that I won't lose the other. Happy Birthday to Mdm Tan, you have no more regrets in life, if you are tired, please sleep as long as you want...

First day of work is, expected, nothing to do. Late for 15mins plus getting lost in finding CAAS headquarters was irritating. The fault lies on the 3 check points the bus have to pass before arriving in T2 and also the lack of information passed down to us about the meeting place. Anyway, upon reaching the place, did abit of orientation and was told to sit in the office till end of work as I haven't gotten my pass to access the departure/arrival hall. Luckily liying and liting had nothing to do too as their supervisor was outstation-ed. So spent the time from 11 to 6 sitting around talking and talking. End my work at 6 and met Nicole at Tampines. Not sure what happened anyway; everyone told me a different story, so I will just take it as misunderstanding all right? Was supposed to wait for Lester and go together with him to Serena's Birthday celebration. As I hated waiting for people, we decided to go ahead first after having BK. Imagine how long it was already. Drink a few cups of submarines and headed home; need to get to work tomorrow. Well FYI, I will be sitting in office for the next 2 weeks before my pass is made that will allow me to enter the departure/arrival hall. BORING 2 WEEKS!
Happy Birthday Serena Maybelle Tay!
Sem 3.1; Monday, April 20, 2009
2:31 AM
All right! Sem 3.1 will officially start in a few hours time. Not that I will be in school for this period of time. It's confirm that I will be attached to CAAS (Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore) for my SIP. From what I know, I am attached to "Engineering and Real Estate Development/Airport Planning" Division. My job is to go around T2 to check the aircons there. I guess by the time I'm done with the aircons my SIP will be over. Or not. Well I will know in detail what to do when I report to work on Tuesday. Tomorrow will be a mass briefing for all year 3 engine students. Expect it will be the same crap about what is the right thing to do and what's not during our SIP period. Funny, I don't seem to feel excited in having the prospect of being able to have my SIP outside of school. Guess it just died down... After all the news was released nearly a month ago. Now to just do well for my part and hopefully get a letter of commendation. Since I can't do anything much to my GPA, achieving that will certainly make my resume look nicer doesn't it? Only problem is that I wonder how long will this thinking last before I, yet again, give up and decide to lead the easier way of life...
Doubts; Tuesday, April 7, 2009
11:59 PM
It's been 3 days since the email and call from my MP/SIP in-charge. Still having doubts about how genuine the email is. Perhaps it was a mistake? For the MP/SIP list had our group doing "Green Data Center". God knows what is that. In any angle of view, Green Data Center doesn't seem to have any hint of Changi Airport whatsoever. Oh well, hopefully its a genuine one; beats attaching to school. One thing sure though, is that a teacher wouldn't play an April Fool's joke on students does he? Or does he???
